Thanks for the tip-off, guys! I’ve been subscribed to the ABC podcast feed for months but have been ignoring it. Coincidentally, I’m just now getting around to listening to “A Wizard of Earthsea”, as it’s one of the many gaping holes in my repertoire of classic fantasy. So I will listen to this interview with great interest. Garrison Keillor also covered her birthday on his Writer’s Almanac Podcast entry for October 21st, and I found her early life story fascinating, and parallel to mine in some ways, which is encouraging. :)
