This is one of those literary literature interviews about literate literary writers. Analysis, method, influence, structure, style – in other words, everything but the street-level story idea. I’d have been enthralled if I knew what the subject was. Where o where are those down and dirty attention grabbing ideas? Can anyone tell what the hell Yasabel, Kay’s new book, is about? It’s a modern fantasy, but I didn’t learn that from the interview.
