The story this week over on Escape Pod, the preeminent podcast SF magazine, is Barnaby In Exile by Mike Resnick. Bring a hanky to this one. The story is reminiscent, and from my POV clearly in dialogue with, Pat Murphy‘s classic Rachel In Love. Both are powerful anthropomorphic visions of apes in tough emotional spots.
