StarShipSofa leaves behind the BSFA and moves deeper into space. Just for your information, Ken MacLeod’s Lighting Out was the winner. Not my first choice – but hey, what do I know?

This week on Aural Delights we have a cracking story my Jeff VanderMeer called Shark God Versus Octopus God. This is such a great story narrated brilliantly by Grant Stone. So… dust off the BSFA and sit yourself down on the SOFA… we have a story to tell. Blast Off!

To celebrate, CBC has started a contest… here are the details:

“Canadia: 2056 Future Graphic Contest

Can you draw, paint or have some other artistic talent? Or are you the type to create a graphic using Photoshop or some other image manipulation program? Have you ever thought about one of the characters from Canadia: 2056 or the ship itself and had an idea of what they looked like?
