This collection of “excerpts” from Childhood’s End (TC164) was published on LP in 1979. It was recorded in Sri Lanka by Arthur C. Clarke himself.

Remember Waldentapes? I remember the old Waldentapes abridged version of Childhood’s End and how much I loved it. Must have listened to it ten times.
That was an excellent version (much better than Clarke’s)
