Robert J. Sawyer’s first novel in his Quintaglio ascension series, Far Seer, is under scrutiny by The Kick-Ass Mystic Ninjas this week. The novel is set on an alien planet populated by intelligent dinosaur-like creatures. The “far seer” of the title refers to a telescope and the story parallels the events surrounding Galileo’s discovery of the moons of Jupiter.
